Job summary

Alabama Clinical Schools in Birmingham, AL, seeks a licensed practical nurse (PRN) to support behavioral health services for youth. The LPN will direct physical patient management, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and monitor changes in patient behavior to intervene therapeutically.

Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. LPN(PRN):

The LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have current CPR certification. Collaborates with members of other disciplines. Observes patient behavior for changes in order to intervene therapeutically, guide non-professional nursing staff, communicate changes to appropriate staff, and record changes. Assists with the staffing process for nursing issues. Assists with reviewing all the staffing schedule and informing managers of potential overtime issues then assists managers in making necessary changes as directed by the Registered Nurse.
