Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide nursing services, training, and supports addressing medical needs of individuals with brain injury, intellectual and developmental disabilities, a substance use disorder, and/or behavioral disabilities.

You will monitor health, administer medications, conduct assessments, and train staff. The role offers meaningful, high‑impact work in a setting with varied challenges and opportunities to grow within Sevita.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or related field.
• One year of nursing experience with the population served.
• Current LPN or LVN licensure in state of residence.
• Valid driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Certifications such as CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS per state licensing.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health conditions and ensure quality services.
• Administer medications and supervise medication administration.
• Provide prescribed medical treatment per physician orders and personal care.
• Conduct assessments and update ISP as conditions change.
• Train staff on infection control and medication administration.
• Coordinate with medical providers and external agencies for consistent care.
• Educate individuals served on topics like self-medication and health risks.
