Description:Under direct supervision and/or direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader.Performs duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures.Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product or service that contributes to the patient and family experience.Recognizes and demonstrates an understanding of patient and family-centered care.A strict attendance policy is in place.Any contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated.Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably.
