Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an LPN/LVN for LTAC travel assignment in Idaho for 18 weeks. Night shifts are 12 hours, with 3 shifts per week; weekends every other week, no call, floating as needed. Local candidates are not allowed; travelers accepted.

Start ASAP. Unit has 20 beds, 15 rooms, census ~17. Responsibilities include admissions, ambulation, med reconciliation, oxygen and vitals, wound care, behavior management, and family education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of LTC experience required within the past 2 years.
• State or compact license required, must be in hand prior to start.
• BLS required.ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred.Previous charge experience preferred.Community hospital experience preferred.
• Local candidates are not allowed. Travelers accepted for the first time.
• Block scheduling is negotiable during the interview.
• Start date is ASAP.
• The shift consists of 3 night shifts per week.
• Weekends are required every other week.
• No call required.
• Floating may be required as needed within the scope.
• Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
• The daily census is approximately 17 patients.
• The unit has 15 rooms and 20 beds.
• Admissions, ambulation, and medication reconciliation are part of the duties.
• Oxygen administration and vital sign monitoring are required skills.
• Experience with wound care and behavior management techniques is essential.
• Support and education for patients and families will be part of the role.
• An understanding of various medications for mental health and chronic conditions is necessary.
• The candidate must be able to communicate patient status changes to the RN or MD.
• Experience with healthcare documentation and compliance is important.
