Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid LPN license in NC (or compact license with eligibility).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Previous nursing experience preferred; correctional or acute care a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications under supervision.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Document findings accurately and maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or urgent care.
• Support infection control, safety, and health promotion within the facility.
• Educate patients on prescribed treatments and wellness practices.
