Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide bedside nursing care under the supervision of an RN. The role includes data gathering and reporting, executing orders, and performing nursing procedures on patients in an inpatient setting.

Qualified candidates hold current LPN/LVN licensure in the practicing state, with BLS certification; IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of employment or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required and must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN.
• Gather and report patient data and carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures as directed and in age-appropriate manner.
• Support unit goals and adhere to PAM Health policies and guidelines.
