Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.
• LPN/LVN licensed nurse credential
• Vocational school graduate required

Responsibilities

• Providing focused nursing care for patients with complex needs by administering medications and assisting with interventions.
• Observe patients for status changes and escalate concerns quickly for early intervention
• Document timely updates to coordinate care in a high-acuity environment
• Explain conditions and recovery steps clearly to patients and families
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and specialists to guide patients through transition from intensive care toward recovery
