Summary

Functions in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s) in a physician practice or clinic setting. Provides ambulatory nursing care as directed by physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s), including patient and family assessment, intervention, and education. Oversees licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordinates daily clinical operations of the multi-physician practice. Performs daily clinical duties per established policies and procedures.

Education and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a physician practice or clinic setting; Pediatrics preferred
Certification/Licensure
  • Current license to practice vocational nursing in Texas
  • Current CPR certification
