Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene is hiring for Full-Time Day and Night LPN/LVN positions and PRN opportunities. Join a national inpatient rehabilitation leader committed to growth and collaborative care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care per care plan, monitoring vitals, collaborating with RNs, and building relationships to support recovery. Texas licensure and CPR required; inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LPN/LVN licensure required.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per the personalized care plan and physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses to report findings and execute care plans.
• Build meaningful patient relationships to support recovery across physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Celebrate patient milestones throughout the recovery journey.
