Job summary

Bay Crest Care Center in Torrance, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring healthcare team. You will provide resident-focused nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, delivering a full range of services to residents.

Key duties include admissions/discharges, daily rounds, medication administration, supervising unlicensed staff, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting safety in a compassionate, family-oriented

Qualifications

If yes, here’s how you will contribute to the team:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Medication administration.
• Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have:

• LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
