Job summary

Encompass Health in Texas is seeking an LPN/LVN to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, align with individualized care plans and physician orders, and collaborate with RNs to support each patient’s recovery.

You will monitor vital signs, observe patient progress, and engage with families to explain treatment goals. The role offers growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and a supportive culture that values empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical or hospital experience preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care, aligning with the personalized care plan and physician orders.
• Observing patient behaviors, including monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Collaborating directly with Registered Nurses to report findings and execute patient care plans.
• Cultivating meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
