Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) in Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and monitor high-quality clinical care for residents in our care community. You will supervise Medication Assistants, Resident Assistants, and Aides under the direction of the RN or Clinical Coordinator.

The role requires current LPN licensure, CPR certification, and a compassionate approach to gerontological nursing within a faith-based nonprofit organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure in the state(s) where practiced.
• Current CPR certification.
• Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative practices.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide and monitor high-quality clinical care and services to residents in accordance with regulations and best practices.
• Monitor the work of Medication Assistants, Resident Assistants and Resident Aides on assigned shift.
• Report to the RN, Clinical Coordinator or Clinical Administrator as designated at the site.
