Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Las Cruces, NM team. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement individualized care plans in a professional healthcare setting.

Shifts are 12 hours with day and night options. Local pay is $47.00/hour; travel pay includes lodging and meal stipends for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current, valid NM license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an LPN.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the licensing board if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications (BLS, TB screening, Hepatitis B vaccination or titers).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; follow infection control standards.

Local Pay: $ 47.00/hour

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $21.00 Stipend (Lodging $672.00 + M&I $413.00) = $1,085.00,

Total Comp: $1,841.00

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNM license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as aLPN.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (Healthcare Provider BLS certification; TB screening with negative PPD, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, or T-SPOT results; Hepatitis B Consent/Declination Form; and proof of Rubella, Rubeola, and Varicella vaccination or titers ).
