Bellway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Selma, Alabama is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support the clinical staff in delivering high-quality care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

The ideal candidate holds an Alabama LPN license, has experience in long-term care or rehab, and can work in a fast-paced setting, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Alabama.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor resident condition including vital signs and changes in status.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Work closely with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapy staff.
• Support residents with daily care needs when needed.
• Participate in care planning and family meetings.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Help train and support new nursing staff.
