Job summary

Miami Jewish Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility northeast of downtown Miami. You will follow care plans, collaborate with RNs, supervise CNAs, and document medications accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current LPN license in Florida.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plans and policies.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Develop and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Document medications and orders accurately.
• Oversee CNAs and coach staff.
• Assist in orientation of new personnel.
