Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking an LPN for PRN nursing in long-term care. Travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius of the permanent address is required. Minimum 3 months LTC experience, with 6 months preferred, and an active LPN license are essential.

Base compensation ranges from $24.00 to $36.00 per hour, with premium pay: $10/hr, plus $1.25/hr weekend and evening/night differentials. Minimum 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Unencumbered LPN license with state board or multi-state licensure privileges

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and maintain confidentiality.
