Job summary

LaFollette Medical Center is seeking an LPN to provide essential nursing care under the supervision of RNs and in collaboration with the healthcare team. You will conduct assessments, administer medications, and help implement care plans to support safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting.
• LPN or LVN state licensure is required.
• BCLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• State-specific ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications may be required within employer timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed, following safety protocols.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in daily practices.
