The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role provides professional nursing care under supervision, administers medications, and contributes to residents’ health and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, and diet.
• Collaborate with health care professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
