Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time days at the Luverne facility in Luverne, MN. The role involves delivering professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings under supervision, with 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour work week.

The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus, shift differentials for evenings and weekends, and eligibility for medical, dental, and vision benefits. A supportive interdisciplinary team environment is provided.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure.
Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
Ensures health, comfort and safety of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care and medications.
Maintains confidentiality and communicates clearly with residents, families and the health care team.
