Job summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide compassionate, individualized care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in home and community-based settings. • Build long-term, trusting relationships with the individuals you support and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, guardians, and team members to ensure holistic, person-centered care.
• Accompany individuals on community outings - enjoy activities like picnics, movies, bowling, or dining out as part of LARC's vision of "community for all."

Requirements and Responsibilities: What You'll Bring

• A current, active Connecticut LPN license.
• A valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain - training provided).
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to person-centered care.
• The ability to lift and support individuals with limited mobility when needed.
• (Preferred) Experience working with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) nursing policies and procedures - training provided if needed.
