Alumus is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to guests in residence using the nursing process for optimum quality and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Complete and scan required record keeping forms/charts on admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Chart nurses’ notes reflecting care provided and patient response.
• Report discrepancies to Director of Nursing (orders, diet change, charting error).
• Ensure documentation of unauthorized discharges is entered per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete and scan required record keeping forms/charts upon the guest’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
• Chart nurses’ notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the guest, as well as the guest’s response to the care.
• Report all discrepancies noted concerning physician’s orders, diet change, charting error, etc., to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure that appropriate documentation concerning unauthorized discharges is entered in the guest’s medical record in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications
