Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan - Taylor Campus, located in Taylor, MI, is a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you can really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

The LPN/LVN is responsible for clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. They ensure the unit functions smoothly, organized, and efficiently as directed by the Registered Nurse. Care provision includes direct patient care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care. Key components include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality, establishing professional relationships, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Required Skills
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • IV Certification.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • One (1) year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
  • Three (3) years of medical/surgical experience (preferred).
  • One (1) year of area-specific experience (preferred).
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Proficiency with computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Compliance with workplace drug and alcohol policies.
