NaphCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time day shifts (7AM–7PM) at the Mobile County Jail in Mobile, AL. Join a team delivering correctional healthcare using our cutting-edge resources, including our award-winning electronic operating system.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time LPNs. Night shift opportunities (7PM–7AM) are also available, offering the chance to contribute to patient-focused care in a unique setting while benefiting from comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama LPN license is required.
• Experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to administer medications and perform basic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments
• Administer medications
• Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
• Collect samples, specimens and cultures
• Transcribe therapeutic orders
