Benchmark Senior Living in Rye, NH is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our warm, home-like community. Full-time day shifts (6a-2p) and evening shifts (2p-10p) are available with competitive hourly pay of $36–$44.

You will deliver nursing care to residents, monitor health, document changes, and coordinate with the care team to support independence and well-being in a supportive, team-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years nursing experience; elder care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in health to care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead RCAs in job duties.
• Coordinates care with providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Responds to emergencies and uses ERS as needed.

Full Time Days 6a-2p

Full Time Evenings 2p-10p

$36-$44/HR

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
