Benchmark Senior Living in Bedford, NH is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time and per diem roles. Shifts available 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with a pay range of $32.75-$39/hour.

You will provide nursing care in a warm, home-like setting and collaborate with a team to support residents. Ideal candidates hold an LPN license with CPR certification and 1–2 years of experience, preferably with the elderly.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with the elderly in paid or voluntary roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately.
• Observe changes in health and report to care leadership per state rules.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead RCAs in job responsibilities.
• Coordinate care with providers through case management.
• Balance service needs with resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse per regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and pager alerts as needed.

Part-time and Per Diem Opportunities

7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm

Rate: $32.75-$39/HR

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
