Job Duties:

• Provide primary clinical support to the provider, patient, and their family to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and proper filing in medical records.
• Promote a clean environment and meet qualifications to care for patients within specific age ranges.
• Obtain and document patient history, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist providers with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, complete paperwork, and expedite lab studies.
• Communicate with patients and providers, respond to patient questions, and administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis and proper setup.

This role is full-time, days, with flexible hours during the week. Newly graduated or experienced LPNs are welcome to apply. The position supports clinical staff at Geisinger’s Primary Care in Selinsgrove.
