Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in State College, PA is seeking a part-time LPN to join Penn State Health Medical Group Benner Pike – Suite 2. The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider, document in the EMR, and guide patients and families according to care plans.

This role requires an active LPN license, BLS certification, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy dermatology/Mohs

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse of provider. The LPN will observe, report and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record. The LPN will instruct patients and families according to the teaching plans. The LPN will communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.

Penn State Health Medical Group Benner Pike – Suite 2 is seeking an individual to join the team! This office hosts two specialties, including Mohs Surgery and Dermatology. We are seeking a personable individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
