Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute data to patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Reinforce education and discharge planning throughout hospitalization.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluate nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Assist in performance appraisals and mentor new staff and students.

Position Details:

Hours: 7am - 7:30pm, every other weekend and holiday. Prior cardiac experience preferred; willingness to learn and grow in cardiac nursing is essential.
