Regional Care Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse at a healthcare facility in Somers, NY.

Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour

• Full Time / Part Time / Per-Diem

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Record residents’ medical histories accurately.
• Measure and record blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Monitor residents’ condition, including medication side-effects and progress.
• Manage patient charts, fluid intake/output, and overall condition.
• Administer injections, medications, enemas, and dress wounds.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to residents.
• Communicate with residents’ families for advice, comfort, and instructions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current NY State LPN License.
• BLS Certification.
• At least 1 year of LTC experience; SNF experience preferred.
