Job summary

Life Care Center of Pueblo, part of Life Care Centers of America, seeks a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our night shift. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, monitor patients, and support a multidisciplinary team to achieve the highest practicable well-being for residents.

Education and licensure as an LPN in Colorado are required, CPR certification, and prior skilled nursing experience is preferred. An American Sign-On bonus of $7,500 is offered for full-time nights.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in good standing in Colorado.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and report to the care team.
• Assign duties and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
