Job summary

Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night and morning shifts. The role involves collecting patient information for admission, recording health details, and assisting with examinations and sample collection.

You will administer medications, treat wounds, supervise CNAs if needed, and help with daily personal care and monitoring intake/output. Training and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Two years of Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from patients to be admitted; medical records, insurance details.
• Record health details of patients; including vitals & temperature.
• Help the patient prepare for medical examinations and take test samples from patients.
• Administer medications and injections to patients as needed.
• Treat wounds and dressing as needed.
• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Help patients get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitor patients' food and liquid intake and output.
