Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an LPN to provide direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes medication administration, reporting symptoms, and contributing to patient care plans within established policies and procedures.

In Employee Health, the LPN will assist with new hire and annual health screenings and may take on additional duties as assigned. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate care across departments.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree in Nursing or completion of LPN program required.
  • Active LPN license and BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on department.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN.
