Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a PRN capacity at our skilled nursing facility in Washington. The LPN will provide nursing care to residents, monitor condition changes, and supervise CNAs as part of an interdisciplinary team.

We require graduation from an accredited LPN program with an active license in good standing, CPR certification, and ideally 1 year of SNF experience. Excellent patient care and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Active LPN/LVN license in good standing in applicable state.
• CPR certification required (on hire or during orientation).
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
• Comply with Life Care standards and applicable laws/regulations.

Education

Graduated from an accredited LPN program

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
