Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. You will deliver quality nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and report changes to the care team in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will provide supervision to CNAs, uphold Life Care standards, and ensure compliance with regulations. An active LPN/LVN license and CPR certification are required; prior skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active LPN/LVN license in good standing throughout employment.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients and monitor/ report changes in patient condition.
• Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs on a daily basis.
• Provide care and services to maintain patients' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with Life Care standards.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program

• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
