Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Night Shift LPN for our inpatient Detox and Residential facility in Fort Collins, CO. You will perform nursing duties during the overnight shift, including assessments, vitals, medication administration, and documentation to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program, a current CO LPN license, and at least 1 year of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Colorado LPN license.
• At least 1 year of behavioral health or substance use treatment experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on admission.
• Perform night-shift nursing duties: vitals, med administration, charting.
• Coordinate with medical/UR teams for care planning.
• Maintain accurate med logs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Now Hiring Night Shift (7pm-7am) LPNs for our inpatient Detox and Residential treatment facility, in Ft. Collins, CO!

What You'll Do

• Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission
• Perform all nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appt.s and labs, updating charts...)
• Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Ensure impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client

What We're Looking For

• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Current, valid LPN license in Colorado
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
• Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills
