Job summary
The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New York seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our geriatric care team. You will provide skilled nursing care in our SNF and Long Term Care units, perform medication administration, monitor vital signs, and support residents with therapeutic activities.
Must hold a NY LPN license, be able to work independently without direct supervision, and communicate with physicians, families and the care team.
Qualifications
- Current NY LPN license.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Experience in geriatric care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Medication administration, including IVs.
- Taking and recording vital signs.
- Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
- Provide resident and family education.
- Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of NY, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
- Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
- Medication Administration, including IVs.
- Taking and recording vital signs.
- Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
- Provide resident and family education.
- Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
- Supervising CNAs
Bilingual Russian preferred
- Current License-LPN
Salary: Up to $42 an hour
- 1199 benfits after 90 days
