Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team in Chesterfield, Missouri. You will deliver quality nursing care, monitor patient changes, and report findings to the team, while ensuring Life Care standards and regulations.

You will supervise CNAs, assign duties, and support residents to attain the highest practicable well-being. Active LPN/LVN license and CPR certification are required upon hire and must remain current.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
• Active LPN/LVN license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current.

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients and monitor condition changes.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited LPN program
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
