Benchmark at Bedford Falls seeks a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a home-like community. This full-time night-shift position (11pm–7am) offers up to $36.75 per hour plus shift differential and a supportive team environment.

Requirements include a current LPN license, CPR, graduation from an approved LPN program, and 1–2 years of nursing experience with elderly residents preferred. Benefits and care-team collaboration are highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately and promptly.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident health to the care team.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in job responsibilities.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence support.
• Recognize and report elder abuse and regulatory concerns.
• Respond to emergencies and operate personal emergency systems.

Benchmark at Bedford Falls is looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team!

Full Time Nights 11p-7a

Up to $36.75 plus shift differential

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
