Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri is seeking a Clinic LPN to provide quality patient care under leadership. The nurse will greet patients, prepare them for examinations, administer medications, support procedures, and help maintain equipment while following nursing standards.

This role requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, valid LPN licensure, IV certification, and BLS. Travel between Mosaic facilities may be required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, or military equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid state licensure.
• IV Certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• Driver's License valid in state for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assists provider with procedures and maintains equipment before and after procedures.

Clinic LPN works under the supervision of leadership. Clinic LPN administers quality patient care according to established standards. Clinic LPN may delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients.

Education

• Visual, hearing, feeling, smell.

Exposure to Hazards

• Needle sticks, cuts, back injury, body fluids, blood, punctures, scratches, physical injury from combative patients, radiation exposure, blood products, road and weather hazards when driving required.
• Infection/disease exposure from patients, visitors, and co-workers.
