Mercyhealth seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its clinic team serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. You will room patients, collect assessments, document in the medical record, and assist with examinations and procedures.
You will administer injections, perform EKGs and venipuncture, monitor patient responses, and coordinate referrals with insurers and other providers. Adherence to standards of care and QA participation are emphasized.
Graduate of an accredited LPN Program OR Wisconsin: Have completed the portion of the RN Program needed to obtain a certificate of completion in practical nursing. Illinois: Have completed the designated curriculum of a Ladder Option Approved Designated RN Program. Experience in clinical setting preferred.
Licensed as an LPN in the State of Practice Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days
