Hannibal Regional is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Nurse for its 13-bed unit. The role involves caring for adults requiring intensive rehabilitation after acute care, focusing on various diagnoses including stroke and spinal cord injuries. Candidates must be licensed practical nurses with BLS certification and demonstrate specialty skills.
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) is a 13-bed rehabilitation unit within Hannibal Regional Hospital.
The patient population consists of adults who are ready for discharge from the acute care setting but still require intensive rehabilitation, therapy services, and ongoing medical care. Common diagnoses include stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, major trauma, hip fracture, brain injury, neurological disorders, and specific joint replacements. Care is delivered through an interdisciplinary approach in partnership with Life Point Health.
