Job description

Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Nurse Position

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) is a 13-bed rehabilitation unit within Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The patient population consists of adults who are ready for discharge from the acute care setting but still require intensive rehabilitation, therapy services, and ongoing medical care. Common diagnoses include stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, major trauma, hip fracture, brain injury, neurological disorders, and specific joint replacements. Care is delivered through an interdisciplinary approach in partnership with Life Point Health.

Position Requirements:
  1. Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing.
  2. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (IV Certified) in Missouri. Graduate nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
  3. BLS CPR certification.
  4. Successful application of nursing knowledge and processes.
  5. Demonstrates skill in the area of specialty.

This position requires physical abilities testing.
