Job summary

BayCare Alliant Hospital is seeking an LPN for inpatient care. You will work under a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care, administer medications, and support therapies during assigned shifts.

The position requires an LPN license and BLS, with ACLS preferred. Expect 6 months of acute care experience and a 6:45pm–7:15am shift, full-time status, at Dunedin facility in Florida.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, delivering patient care per plan including medication administration and therapies.
• Provide personal care, assistance and supervision for SIPP patients as applicable.
• Complete the Florida Board of Nursing IV course within the first two weeks of LPN internship; not required for SIPP.

Position Description: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

The LPN Inpatient responsibilities include:

• Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.
• SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.
• Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.
