Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of medical assisting program preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification required (CMA/ RMA/ ABR-OE).
• Minimum of one-year work experience in public contact job, preferably in a medical office.
• Knowledge of the health care field.
• Ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate compassion.

Responsibilities

• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Assist providers with patient care and chart management.
• Schedule appointments and assist with in-office procedures.
• Assist front desk with clerical duties as needed.
• Set up instruments and maintain infection control.
