Job summary

You will utilize the nursing process, maintain accountability, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure high-quality outcomes. Requirements include LPN licensure in the hiring state, graduation from an accredited program, and BLS certification or completion within 30 days.

ACLS/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications may be needed based on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license in the hiring state required.
• New or experienced LPN accepted.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E. or unit-specific certifications may be required.
• IV Certification preferred within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
