Job summary

Southeast Health seeks an LPN III who is actively enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree nursing program to provide nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Unit (2 East–7 East). The role emphasizes applying current nursing standards and supporting the hospital’s mission.

Responsibilities include assisting the Registered Nurse, participating in planning and evaluating patient care, and adhering to Alabama Board of Nursing policies.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state.
• Completion of/credit for the first two semesters of the approved curriculum of an RN program and current enrollment in an assessment or medical-surgical nursing course.
• Current enrollment in the approved curriculum of an RN program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care activities for Medical/Surgical patients.
• Assist RN in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Adhere to Alabama Board of Nursing policies and hospital procedures.
• Support the hospital mission and values.
