Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an LPN II to implement nursing care for assigned patients and to assist the RN in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. The LPN II will utilize advanced skills in patient care after completing education and training.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, FL LPN licensure, BLS/CPR, and a 30-hour IV certification along with Basic Arrhythmia within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Require graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, or otherwise meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Require thirty (30) hour IV certification.
• Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within ninety (90) days of employment.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
