Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks an LPN II to provide nursing care to patients in our Urgent Care Center_VNA setting. You will assist the RN with assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, applying advanced skills learned through education and training.

Scheduled shifts include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options; evenings, weekends, and holidays are required across all urgent care locations.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing, or otherwise meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing.
• Thirty (30) hours of IV certification.

The LPN II implements nursing care for assigned patients, assists the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care. The LPN II utilizes advanced skills in patient care after education and training.

Our urgent care centers are open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Shifts can vary from 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. Flexibility to work at all 7 of our urgent care locations is required; schedule location preferences will be considered.

Required Qualifications
