ARMStaffing is seeking an LPN for an acute rehabilitation assignment in Jackson, MS. The position covers 13 weeks with a 36-hour day shift schedule and every-other-weekend requirements.

The LPN will provide ongoing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, or orthopedic injuries, and will document care in Cerner/Epic while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid LPN license.
• BLS certification is required.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work at an acute rehabilitation hospital that focuses on the treatment and recovery of patients with severe injuries or illnesses. The LPN will provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, and orthopedic injuries.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assist with daily living activities and rehabilitation exercises.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities using electronic health records (Cerner, Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
