Job summary

Warren Clinic, Inc. is seeking an LPN to administer nursing care to an assigned group of patients under physician orders and the Nursing Care Plan.

You will consult with the registered nurse to plan patient care and perform direct and indirect patient care duties including data collection. This on-site role at the Urgent Care - Springer Building in Tulsa requires a practical nursing credential and Oklahoma LPN license, with 0–6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Has completed a practical nursing program or equivalent coursework approved by a state board of nursing.
• Must hold or be eligible for Oklahoma LPN license.
• 0–6 months related nursing experience.

This position is ECB status – requires a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department; limited benefit offerings.

Variable Job Summary

• Administers nursing care to an assigned group of patients based on physician's orders and Nursing Care Plan.
• Consults with Registered Nurse to plan patient care.
• Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties including data collection.

Minimum Education

Has completed the prescribed curricula of a practical nursing program or has completed equivalent coursework as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or certificate therefrom.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification

Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse License.

Work Experience

0 - 6 months related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
