Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN license in good standing (Iowa).
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or post-acute settings.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for training, support, and conflict management.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-level nursing care at the RN level with focus on each resident's needs and preferences.
• Responds promptly to emergencies and directs the team accordingly.
• Participates in supervision including recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluation.
• Supervises daily nursing activities and ensures completion of assigned tasks.
• Documents care plans, medications, transfers, and resident progress per standards.
• Maintains safety, follows OSHA procedures, and communicates changes in resident condition.
